Our procedures are designed in a manner as to meet the inspection criteria of JCAHO, NFPA and other governing bodies, as well as Underwriters Laboratories.
Damper Inspections
Dampers will be located and inspected for overall condition of damper assembly; fire linkage and then a manual operation of the damper will be completed. All dampers will be labeled and assigned a number sequence according to damper type and location.
Any problems encountered during the inspection will be reported directly to the facility staff and will be included in a written follow-up report which includes a damper count, damper numerical sequence, damper location, and damper's operational status. All reports are delivered directly to facility office.
PENETRATIONS
Prior to the start of work areas to be inspected and remediated are identified with the facility. Areas with deficient penetrations are digitally photographed and written documentation is prepared to assure compliance with applicable life safety codes. All systems used in the performance of this work will be done in accordance with manufacturer application guides and industry standards.
After all penetrations in the project area are remediated a final report is generated and delivered directly to facility office.
All facility rules and regulations, including PPE, and containment procedures are followed during the process.
